He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Monroe Stone, Sr. and Vera Hodges Stone; his wife Deloris Niver Stone; his siblings, Nancy Odum White and Charles H. Stone; his stepchildren, Joey Wexel and Debbie Myrick; and his sister-in-law Jessie Niver Boulware.
He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Stone Johnson; his brother John Stone (Leah); his brother-in-law Tommy Niver; and his grandchildren, Allison Jolley, Ashley Bashlor (James), April Williams (Brian), Hailey Patrick (Alan) and Justin Johnson. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vaigneur Funeral Home Chapel (6802 Tillman Rd, Ridgeland, SC 29936). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Bluffton Cemetery (1166 May River Rd, Bluffton, SC 29910).
