He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh E. Hughes and Bernice Cooler Hughes; his daughter Jeanette McClure; and his son-in-law Ronnie McClure (Margaret). He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his son Roy Hughes (Cheri); his grandchildren, Scott McClure, Chuck McClure (Angela), Johnathan Chanes, Jasmine Bringuel (John) and Jordan Hughes (Tori); his great grandchildren, Aidan Bringuel, Yeva Bringuel, McKenzie McClure, Jaxon Hughes and Adalyn Hughes; and his uncle Arthur Cooler.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vaigneur Funeral Home (6802 Tillman Rd, Ridgeland, SC 29936). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Ridgeland Cemetery.
