She was predeceased by: her parents, Morgan Tuten and Mae Thomas Tuten; her husband Hubert Malphrus, Sr.; and her brothers, Heyward Tuten and Marion Tuten.
She is survived by: her children, Deak Malphrus (Resa), Allen Malphrus (Susan) and Kelly Brantley; her brother Donald Tuten (Jean); her sisters-in-law, Jean S. Tuten and Jean T. Tuten; and her grandchildren, Deak Malphrus Jr. (Libby), Andy Malphrus (Debbie) and Matt Malphrus. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
