He was predeceased by: his parent Sherman Newberry; and his sister Gladys Marie Newberry. He is survived by: his parent Margie Newberry; his wife Dorcie Casey Newberry; his children, Teresa Newberry Binns (Robert) and Joe Howard Newberry, Jr. (Marilyn); his siblings, James Sherman Newberry (Deanna), Basil Edward Newberry (Sue), Shirley Buskill and Judy Fox; and his grandchildren, Kristin Elizabeth Binns and Christopher Lee Smith.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association.
