We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2023, at the age of 86, Earnest Walter Goethe (Ridgeland, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Lee Goethe, Fredina Covington, Vernon Covington and Michael Covington; and his sister Arnett M. Carter. He is also survived by Twenty grandchildren, Thirty great-grandchildren and twenty-five great-great grandchildren Two nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Always remember to wear a mask, to protect others as well as yourself, mask works best when everyone wears one. A mask is not a substitute for social distancing, masks should be worn in addition to staying 6 feet apart, especially when indoors around people who do not live in your household.
