He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Jean Gainey Collins; his siblings, Carmen Ann Hufstetler of Brandon, Florida and Leonard Elton Collins of Savannah, Georgia; his children, Joyce Wrenn Collins, Joy Delilah Collins Lyle of Walterboro and Elton Dean Collins (Linda) of Ocean Breeze, Florida; his grandchildren, Christopher David Collins (Kelly), Cason David Collins, Lafayette Strait Lyle, IV (Christin), Ryan Collins Lyle (Shana), Fraysse Wrenn Lyle, Jared Michael Collins and Jacob Daniel Collins; his great grandchildren, Coldin Brantley Lyle, Grace Cameron Collins, Adalee Elizabeth Lyle and Cypress Rose Lyle; his stepson Jody Arthur Padgett (Rose) of Bluffton; his stepgrandchildren, Christopher Britton Padgett, Shelby Aldridge Padgett, Caleb Floyd Padgett, Nicole Rhinesmith (Joe Nettles) and DJ Rhinesmith (Leigh); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Gauge Padgett, Owen Padgett, Wryn Padgett, Adelynn Padgett, Wilder Padgett, Danielle Roth and Ella Nettles; and his great great grandchildren, Aubrii Rose Rhinesmith and Jasen Rhinesmith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
