Virginia Strother Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2020, at the age of 93, Virginia Strother of Ridge Spring, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peyton Devaugh and Eula Grandy Senterfeit; and her siblings, Georgia Cain, Lois Holston, Ralph, Don and Carrol Senterfeit.

She is survived by: her husband George James Strother; her children, Kaye Strother of Columbia, SC, Sally Blake (Walter) of Norway, SC, David Strother of Lexington, SC and George Strother, Jr.; her granddaughters, Virginia Gates (Larry) of Gilbert, SC and Kristina Brooks (David) of Fountain Inn, SC; her great grandchildren, Coleman and Lawson Gates; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Cameron, Addison and Stoddard Brooks. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
