She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian A. West and Leila Brooks West; her husband Edgar Lamar Powell; and her siblings, Julette Leavell, Eleanor Reed, Nell Gantt and Jake William West.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Tomlinson (Russell) of Irmo, SC, Cathy Addison (Walter) of Eatonton, GA, Beth Powell of Aiken, SC and Amy Windhorn of Irmo, SC; her sister Mamie Longshore (Jimmy) of Newberry, SC; her grandchildren, Jennifer T. Allen (Michael), Russ Tomlinson (Becca), Jake Tomlinson (Ashley), Walt Addison (Whitney), John Addison, Jack Addison, Jessica Young (Josh), Michael Windhorn and Matthew Windhorn; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Bennett and Wesley Allen; and her grandchildren, Everett, Sutton, Chandler Tomlinson, Frances Jane Tomlinson, Landen, Colten and Payten Young. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
