She was predeceased by: her parent Ernest Buster Trotter; her spouse Edwin L. Platts, Sr; and her siblings, Ethel Banks of Saluda, Winifred Reames of Johnston, Billy Trotter of Batesburg and Truman Trotter of Saluda.
She is survived by: her parent Leona Rodgers Trotter; her sons, Edwin Platts (Elaine) of Denmark, Thomas Platts (Sandy) of Ridge Spring and David Platts (Ron Cox) of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Will Platts (Tammy) of Carey, NC, Tim Platts (Mary) of Charleston, Becky Williams (Jason) of Lexington, Patty Brickey (Josh) of Gilbert, Tara Bailey (Daniel) of Blythewood, Holbrook Platts of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Sarah Platts of Charlotte, NC and Christopher Cox of Barnwell, SC; her brothers, Heyward Trotter and Ansel Trotter (Mary Lynn); and her grandsons, Jason Williams, Josh Brickey and Daniel Bailey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers that memorials be given to Ridge Spring Baptist Church.
