He was predeceased by: his parent Hadell Gay; his wife Betty Ann T. Havird; and his siblings, David Havird, Bobby Havird, Paul Havird, Martha Havird, Dorothy Fox and Sally Ann Grice.
He is survived by: his parent Lillie Mae Boatwright Havird; his children, Marty Havird (Retta) of Ridge Spring and Sheila Matthews (Mickey) of Ridge Spring; his siblings, Frank Havird of Lexington and Phyllis Bedenbaugh of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Bethany Matthews, Haley Havird, Braxton Matthews and Morgan Havird.
