He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Neeley Collins and Helen Broome Collins; his brothers, Edward Collins, Harley Collins and Kenneth Collins; and his nephew Sam Collins.
He is survived by: his brothers, Jimmy Collins, Steve Collins (Joan) and Charles Collins (Kay); his nieces and nephews, Randy Collins, Neil Collins, Cindy Ashworth, Pam McBrayer, Tracey Collins, Darla Lynn Collins, Angel Willard, Amy Evans and Jo Tucker; and his close friend Tim Owens.
