She was predeceased by: her husbands, Edward "Sam" Lathan and Joseph T. Williams; her grandson Paul Trent; and her sister Betty Sue Trotter. She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Porter and Linda Trent (Norman); and her sisters, Dolly Jean Lyles of Catawba and Joan Huffstetler of Rock Hill. She is also survived by three grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
