She was predeceased by: her father Edward Lawing Sr.; and her brother Dusty Lawing. She is survived by: her mother Constance Cole Hicks; her husband Jack "Jay" Morton III; her daughter Michelle Brunet (Brad) of Fort Lawn, SC; her stepchildren, Jason Morton of Chester, SC, Nikki Morton of Chester, SC, Kristy Willard (Scotty) of Fort Lawn, Heather Morton of Richburg, SC and Misty Morton of Great Falls, SC; her brother Dale Lawing of Fort Lawn, SC; and her nieces, Kimberly Lawing of Fort Lawn, SC and Ashley Bailey of Richburg, SC. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
