With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willie English of Rembert, South Carolina, born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on July 24, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William English, Jr. of Rembert and Janie Johnson of Camden; his wife Corine English (Ethel); his children, Willene English of Rembert, Deloris Williams of Rembert, Carolyn Williams (Jackie) of Rembert, Peggy Miller (Clyde) of Rembert, Barbara Spann (Curtis) of Rembert, Lilly Mae Edward (Jimmie) of Bladenboro, NC and Shirley Mark (Dennis) of Sumter; his sister Francine Boykin of Rembert; his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Carroll of Sumter, Dargan Ellerbe of Dalzell and Sammie Ellerbe Sr. (Toni) of Baltimore, MD; his daughters-in-law, Emma English of Rembert and Carolyn K English of Rembert; and his niece Lisa Engram (Darrell) of Rembert. He was also cherished by forty grandchildren; fifty-six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
In accordance with the COVID -19 guidelines, the family is requesting that face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 7200 Saxton Road, Rembert.
