He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rankin Bruce and Jane Emerson Bruce. He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his children, William Rankin Bruce III (Shalon) of Camden, SC and Charlotte Bruce McAhron (David) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Macie Legare Bruce, Anna Rankin Bruce of Camden and Miles Campbel McAhron of Charleston; and his siblings, Jane Bruce Smith (William) and Charles Joy Bruce (Diane) of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by eight nieces and three nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Ascension (5190 SC-261, Rembert, SC 29128).
