She was predeceased by: her brothers, Clyburn Metts (Delle) and Larry W. Metts; her stepchildren, Susan W. Latimer, Gerald Michael Wingard and Frank S. Wingard; and her parents, Bertha Metts and Jerry Metts.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald W. Wingard of Lexington, SC; her daughter Jennifer Jumper Kitchens (Brent) of Wilmington, NC; her sister Chick Bates (Wyman) of Orangeburg, SC; and her sister-in-law Emily I. Metts of Orangeburg, SC.. She is also survived by her grandchildren, step-grandchildren, cousins, and great-nieces.
