He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Dukes McAlhany; his children, Donna McAlhany Patten (Eric) of Chapin and Dr. Christopher McAlhany (Hillary) of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Adam Patten, Brantley Patten and Sophie McAlhany; his sisters, Patricia McAlhany Glasser (Rob) and Betty Jo McAlhany Broadway of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Ann McAlhany of Reevesville, SC, Diane George (David) of St. George, SC and Nancy Stanley (Manuel) of Estill, SC..
