He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Georgia Muckenfuss Walters; his children, Dr. Paul David Walters (Tina Hughes) and Wendy Lee Walters (Roy Mundell); his grandchildren, Victoria Graham Griffis (Jake) of Smoaks, Addison Graham (Emily) of Smoaks and Merihazel Walters Fiorenza (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Dawson Graham and Grayleigh Graham; his brother Ernest Walters; and his close friend Wash Belangia. He was also cherished by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. George United Methodist Church "Mission Day Fund" or a charity of one's choice.
