She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pinckney Thompson and Susan Orpha Winters Thompson; her husband Monroe; and her siblings, Raymond, Inez of Eunice, PC, Annie Laurie, Ruth, Julius, Clarence, Elwood, Ida Sue and Billy.
She is survived by: her children, Olivia Walters Wimberly (Paul) and James Monroe Walters, Jr. (Monty); her grandchildren, Lance Monroe Wimberly (Crystal), Jason Wendell Wimberly (Leanne), Juston Paul Wimberly (Lucia), Landon Dale Wimberly (Kelli), Jonathan Lynn Wimberly (Angela), Cody Monroe Walters (Nikki) and Dalton James Walters (Anna Grayce); and her great grandchildren, Austin, Avery Wimberly, Layton, Cullen Wimberly, Anna Landi, Eliza Ross Wimberly, Easton Wimberly, Emily, Ellen Neuhaus, Harper Hickman, Monroe A. and Cara St. Claire Walters.
