It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosie L. Dukes of Ravenel, South Carolina, born in Lucedale, Mississippi, who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Otis Howell and Mamie Lee Howell; and her brother Robert Carl Howell. She is survived by: her husband Harold, Sr.; her sister Ann Howell; her children, Harold Dukes, Jr. (Diane), Carl Dukes (Julie), Aletha Smoak and Leslie Tumbleston (John); and her grandchildren, Taylor, Bailey, Cameron, Elizabeth, Emery, Addie, Eli and Kathryn. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
