He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Stanley Crowder and Helen Nichols Crowder; and his sister Anne Stuart Crowder. He is survived by: his wife Judith Mary Crowder; his son James Stuart Crowder (Kelly Bowman Crowder); his grandchildren, Liam and Emma of Arnold, Maryland; his daughter Catharine Crowder Teeple (Michael Teeple); his grandsons, Michael and Jack of Charleston; and his sister Marian Crowder.
