Mary Ancrum Wright Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ancrum Wright (Ravenel, South Carolina), who passed away on June 20, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Reid Ancrum and Alonzo Ancrum; her brothers, Frank and Mike Ancrum; and her grandson Edward J. Wright III.
She is survived by: her husband Edward; her daughters, Wanda Wright-Sheats and Mary Ann Wright of Charleston, SC; her grandchildren, Erica Dixon (Devon) of Houston, TX, Nigel J. Sheats of Charleston, SC, Nina Sheats Carroll (Morrell) of Winnabow, NC and William E. Sheats, II (US Air Force); her great grandchildren, Taylor Simone, Olivia Nicole, Caleb Edward Dixon of Houston, TX and Autumn Rose Carroll of Winnabow, NC; her siblings, Samuel Ancrum and Helen Wrighten; her sister-in-law Rosa Lee Ancrum of Ravenel, SC; her aunts, Hannah Blake (Joe) and Helen Burno (Blease); her uncle Sam (Mae); and her friends, Anne Robinson, Ann Lewis of Savannah, GA, Tony, Jeri Salter of Jacksonville, FL, Elease James of Sumter, SC and Ethel Hughes of Mount Pleasant, SC. She is also survived by husband, and best friend of sixty five years.
