She was predeceased by: her mother Gladys Smoak Benton; her daughter Donna Muse; and her siblings, Mary Griffin and D. Belton Benton. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Allen Muse of Ravenel; her children, Jeffery (Mary Muse), Tony (Debra Muse), Theresa (William Wright), Harold (Robin Barley), Kerry Peterson of North Charleston and Lynn (Scott Perry); and her brother Roy Benton of Ladson.
