He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Thomas Mitchum, Sr. and Gladys Hallex Mitchum; and his brother Johnny Mitchum. He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Mitchum; his daughter Nancy M. Miller (Ray); his brothers, David Mitchum and Brad Mitchum (Gail); and his siblings-in-law, Charles R. Jenny (Linda), Elizabeth J. Williams (Wayne) and Linda H. Parnell (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel (3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston, SC 29414). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
