He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Luther and Novice Enlow Wise; his wife Carolyn Patricia "Pat" Wise; and his siblings, Allene Dawkins and Roy Wise.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Wise (Marynell) of Little Mountain and Kelly Fowlkes (A. J.) of Prosperity; his grandchildren, Kelsey Wise, Ashley Fowlkes, Ellie Grace Fowlkes, Liam Fowlkes and Kendrick Wise (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Brooklynn Cory Wise and Wrenlee Grace Wise; and his brother Larry Wise.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Colony Lutheran Church (48 Colony Church Rd, Newberry, SC 29108).
The family asks that memorials be made in lieu of flowers to Prosperity Rescue Squad (118 McNeary Street, Prosperity, SC 29127), or Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation (P.O. Box 151, Drayton SC, 29333) to help give the gift of care to others in need.
