It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Koon of Prosperity, South Carolina, who passed away on December 13, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Koon to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred O'Neal Koon and Zilla Garrett Koon Inman; his daughter Angie Baddourah; and his brother Bobby Koon. He is survived by: his wife Freida Shealy Koon; his daughter Kathey Eargle (Neal) of Prosperity; his son-in-law Moe Baddourah of Columbia; his siblings, Mary Hunter (Jim) of Columbia, Jo Nicholson of Gilbert, Peg Garnard of California, John Koon (Darnell) of Irmo and James Walter "Bud" Koon (Marlene) of Prosperity; and his grandchildren, Reece O'Neal Eargle, Seth Bryan Eargle, Kallie Elise Eargle, Zeke Baddourah and Eli Baddourah.
