She was predeceased by: her parents, William Earl and Lucia Mell Whisonant Gossett. She is survived by: her husband Steve R. Shealy; her daughters, Lauri Thomas Monts (Tom) of Mansfield, TX and Lucia Suzanne Thomas (Miguel Acevedo) of Kissimmee, FL; her brothers, Barry Gossett (Kay) of Columbia and Tommy Gossett of Columbia; her grandchildren, Hunter Thomas Monts, Christian Salazar and Justin Acevedo; and her nephew Barron Gossett.

Memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist Church, 80 Zion Circle, Prosperity, SC 29127.
