He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Evans and Toye Amick; and his sister Martha Rotan. He is survived by: his wife Betty Sheppard Amick; his son Michael Todd Amick (Debbie); his stepgranddaughter Shelby of Winston-Salem, N. C.; his daughter Monica Amick-Cassidy (Michael) of West Columbia; his stepchildren, Tina Leitzsey, Nan Spicer (Jeremy), Lory Wicker (Jeff) and Chuck Leitzsey (Melody); his sisters, Nancy Fulmer (Jerry) of Lexington, Melba Murphy of West Columbia and Kay A. Smith of West Columbia; his stepgranddaughter Aliyana Mendenhall; and his niece Terri Roberts. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
