Werts (Edward), Jerlean Praylow (Tony) of Batesburg-Leesville, SC, Martha Abney-Legette of Columbia, SC, Wilma Ray Abney (Ricardo) of Batesburg, SC, Michelle Walford (Tony) of Columbia, SC., Tyra "Kate" Sullivan of Greenwood, SC., Ray Anderson Abney Jr. (Trina) of Pensacola, Willie Rico Abney of Newberry, SC., Robert Lee Abney (Denise) of Atlanta and Terry Abney of Alexandria; his siblings, Georgia Faye Hawkins (Robert) of Saluda, SC, Andrena Abney of Saluda, SC, Susan Abney of Saluda, SC, Katherine Abney (Oscar) of Saluda, SC, Willie Pearl Abney of Newberry, SC. and Calvin Abney of Saluda, SC.; his aunt Annie Mae Mathews of Saluda, SC.; his mother-in-law Eliza Lott of Saluda; his brother-in-law Henry Gallman of Prospeerity, SC; his friends, Joe Galliam, Mary Glover, Charles Miles, Florence Stoudemire, Curtis Wertz and Betty Abney; and his cousin Sammie Matthews. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, 20 nieces and nephews.
