It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Donald Gvozdas of Prosperity, South Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Gvozdas and Elizabeth Gvozdas; and his brother Joseph Gvozdas. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gvozdas; his children, Peter Gvozdas (Alivia), Jason Gvozdas (Jaimie), Scott Gvozdas (Meredith) and Arianne Bauserman (Homer); his grandchildren, Isabelle Gvozdas, Margaret Gvozdas, Mary Scott Gvozdas, Sophia Bauserman, Genevieve Gvozdas, Halle Bauserman and Wittman Gvozdas; his brother Richard Gvozdas (Jan); and his sister-in-law Kathleen Gvozdas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home (939 Chapin Rd, Chapin, SC 29036). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church (195 Amicks Ferry Rd, Chapin, SC 29036).
In Lieu of flowers, Carolyn asks that donations be made to Happy Wheels, to support sick children in the state of South Carolina.
