With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ola Cook of Prosperity, South Carolina, born in Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on July 28, 2020 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold B. Cook; her parents, Thomas Clyde and Maude Smith Burton; her son Tommy Cook; her great grandchild Avery Bramlett Drew; and her sisters, Velma Smith, Ruby Nell Amick, Corrine Berley and Bonnie Cook.
She is survived by: her daughter Julia Cook Easterlin (Richard) of Prosperity; her brothers, Carl Burton of Clinton, Charles Burton of California and Jerry Burton of Chapin; her grandchildren, Bramlett Drew, Luke Easterlin and Matthew Easterlin (Lucy Floyd); and her great grandchildren, Angela McDuffie, Terra Easterlin, Wyatt Drew, Emma Jane Drew and Millie Drew.
Due to COVID 19 everyone is reminded of the social distancing requirements and masks are strongly encouraged.
