He was predeceased by: his father William Daniel Massingale. He is survived by: his mother Odessa Melinda Haney Massingale; his wife Virginia "Joann" Turner Massingale; his children, Steve Massingale (Becky), Rebecca Smith (Davey), Mike Massingale, Barbara Derrick (John) and Bobby Lynn Massingale (Marcia); and his siblings, Ann Hatley (Larry) and Victor Massingale. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
