It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Wicker Cameron of Prosperity, South Carolina, born in Pomaria, South Carolina, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former spouse C. A. Cameron; her parents, John Albert and Nettie Amelia Murphy Wicker; her sister Ermie Y. Saine; and her niece Mary Kay Young.
She is survived by: her husband Chester Cameron; her nephew John H. Young (Jane) of Greenville; her niece Elizabeth Y. Christmus (Mark) of Pomaria; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Josh Young (Cherrise), Nathan Christmus (Jill), Katie Y. Koch (Greg) and Sarah C. Pollard (William); and also, Jack Koch, Thomas Christmus, Anna Christmus, Kate Christmus, Evelyn Pollard and Amelia Koch.
