She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thornton and Mattie Seal Hariel; and her siblings, Ruth Smith and John Leslie Hariel. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Hille of North Carolina and Charles L. Wentworth of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
