He is survived by: his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chauncey, Madison, Elijah and Logan; his wife Jannie Hare Samuel of Prosperity, SC; his children, Shonda Samuel-Holley (Eric) and Kendrick Samuel (Tahisha) of Pomaria, SC; his sisters, Kathy Brooks of Columbia, SC, Henrietta Samuel and Phyllis Ruff of Newberry, SC; his grandson Darius Lane; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Clamp of Newberry, SC, Alberta Rikard of Columbia, SC, Catherine Samuel of Prosperity, SC, Barbara Samuel of Augusta, GA and Leroy Robinson of Batesburg, SC; and his nieces, Deterrical Davenport, Jessica Davidson and Reverend Patricia Glenn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
