We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2023, at the age of 72, Joseph Richard Heyward of Prosperity, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Willie Heyward and Ann Lee Tullis Heyward; and his siblings-in-law, Johnny Overstreet (late Marian), Peggy Mayes (Tommy) and Mickey Heyward (Pealey).
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Heyward; his children, Heather Hammett (Jason) and Joseph R. "Jody" Heyward, Jr. (Priscilla); and his brothers-in-law, Larry Kitchings (Gay) and Robert Kitchings (Shirley). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
