He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elbert Counts, Jr. and Nora Richardson Counts. He is survived by: his daughter Candice Counts (Josh Kingsmore); his sister Tracy Douglas; his granddaughters, Reese and Layla; his close friend Evelyn Love; and his cousins, Jimmy and Robin Richardson.
