It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Usry (Prosperity, South Carolina), who passed away on March 31, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe Usry to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Robert and Ophelia Virginia Sistrunk Usry; his son Mike Usry; and his siblings, Cloteal McLauchlin, Virginia Golden, Mary Lavinia Blair, Claudine Rollins, Melba Jean Reeves, Willie Dee Usry, Quimba Usry, Cozell Usry and John Usry.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Becky Boozer of Prosperity and Jenni Shealy (Clint) of Prosperity; his children, Daryl Usry of Moss Point, MS, David Usry (KaSandra) of Moss Point, MS, Bobby Usry of Pensacola, FL, Joan Foss (Chuck) of Mt. Judea, AR and Cindy Alexander (Ivan) of Gauiter, MS; and his sister Uba Dooley of South Haven, MS. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
