He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Monroe and Maxine McGinis Monroe; his wife Cindy Cole Monroe; his children, Dustin Shayne Monroe, Nathan Allen Monroe and Nicole Renae Monroe; his stepchildren, Terry Leon Pittman, Jr., Amanda Frances Davis-Menasses (Ricardo) and Amber Darlene Lee (Michael); and his siblings, Cathy Rieder (Dave), Steve Monroe (Diane), Terry Monroe and Gary Monroe. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren.
