George Dawkins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Dawkins of Prosperity, South Carolina, who passed away on July 13, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hilliary and Ethel Cook Dawkins; his brothers, John Earl Dawkins, Travis Cook Dawkins, Harry Wendell Dawkins, Joseph Ray Dawkins and James Lee Dawkins; and his wife Frances McCrackin Dawkins.
He is survived by: his children, Deena Bowers (David), Thomas Kirby Dawkins, George William Dawkins, Jr. and John David Dawkins (Susan); his grandchildren, William Jacob Bowers (Heather), Joshua David Bowers (Vicki), Casey Deen Dawkins and Cydnee Cole Dawkins; his great grandchildren, Aynsly Chapman Bowers, Walker David Bowers and Bashtin John Yannuzzi; and his sisters-in-law, Allene Dawkins and Betty Dawkins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
