He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsay Sexton and Glenna May Sexton (Strunk); his parents-in-law, Carl and Virgie Ingram; and his siblings, Bobby Joe Sexton, Jerry Leamon Sexton and Wilda Lee "Billie Jean" Sexton Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Faye Ingram Sexton; his children, Corbin Ray Sexton (Karen) of Prosperity, SC, Thomas William Sexton (Jacqueline "Jac") of Prosperity, SC and Carla Sue Sexton of Chapin, SC.; his grandchildren, Jason Corey Sexton (Jennifer), Lindsay Edward Sexton, Jonathan Leamon Sexton (Carrie), Edward William Sexton (Haleigh), Anna Marie Amick and Patrick Dustin Amick; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Kera Sexton, Rose Sexton, Cassie, Julia, Enoch Sexton, Jeremiah Sexton, Bailey, Skyler and Landen Teseniar; and his siblings, Linda Sue Davidson (George) of Danville, KY, Donna Kay Jeffers (Kermit) of Senoia, GA and Charles "Pete" Strunk of Rincon, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
