It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris A. White of Prosperity, South Carolina, born in Chapin, South Carolina, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ansel O'Neil and Lillian Estelle Shealy Amick; her son Kenneth O'Neal Garrett; and her siblings, Harvey O'Neal Amick, Donald Ray Amick, James Edward Amick and Barbara Chapman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Evelyn Harmon of Prosperity, Betty Hyler (Henry) of Prosperity and Carroll Amick (Betty) of Prosperity; her siblings-in-law, Bobby Chapman, Priscilla Amick of Ridgeway and Marsha Amick of Lexington; and her stepchildren, Marty White of Newberry, Robin Long of Newberry and Candy Frick of Little Mountain. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
