With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delores Ann Hughes of Prosperity, South Carolina, born in Roderfield, West Virginia, who passed away on February 22, 2022 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her daughter Joanna Sapp; her mother Palma Mauldine Bishop; and her brother Larry Bishop. She is survived by: her husband Reverend Stan Hughes; her sons, Mark Hughes (Mary), Cliff Hughes (Cherry) and Josh Hughes (April); her grandchildren, Timothy Sapp (Anna), Bethany Praylow (Chris), Brendae Hughes, Samantha Hughes, Christopher Hughes, Travis Grimsley (Mallory), Jessica Grimsley, Clay Hughes (Kaitlyn), Casey Hughes (Eric), Amber Hughes and Skylar Hughes; her great grandchildren, Canaan, Cullen, Evelynn, Emberly, Malloree, Lyric, Bunny of Mikey, CJ, Chase, Mason, Isabella, Cassie, Stephen, Carson and Brooklyn; and her siblings, Carolyn Regina Bishop, Linda Bohannon, Gloria Ramos (Jose) and Terry Steele. She is also survived by mother who raised four children and then took pride in caring for her grandchildren.
