He was predeceased by: his father William E. Dale. He is survived by: his wife Aloris Dale; his son David Dale, Jr. (Heather); his siblings, Janis Wertz (Jerry), William Dale (Tacey) and Michael Dale (Malynn); and his grandchildren, Emily and Spencer Dale.
