He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ping and Marie Ping (Prather); and his siblings, Rick Ping, Tim Prather, Judy Hackworth and Mary Prather.
He is survived by: his children, Bradley Ping, Emily Ping and Dacia Koop (Nick); his granddaughters, Lillian Koop and Avalynn Koop; his sisters, Theresa Lichau (Rick), Ann Whitlow and Tammy Piper (Lee); and his former wife Cathy Ping (Judy Crocker).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Murphy - Parks Funeral Services (703 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
