He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Leo and Opal Randolph Linton; and his brothers, Lloyd Linton and Wesley Linton. He is survived by: his children, Charles Linton of Atlanta and Teresa Metts (James) of Prosperity; his sisters, Charlotte, Sheri and Nancy; and his grandchildren, Talo Linton, Alexis Lanier, Julian Lanier, Mackenzie Sutch and Cade Metts.
