It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Irving Wentworth of Prosperity, South Carolina, born in Newton, New Hampshire, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bertram Wentworth and Mildred Ingalls Wentworth; and his sisters, Ruth Wilson and Nancy Todd. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Ellen Hille Bedenbaugh of North Carolina and Charles L. Wentworth of Columbia, SC; and his siblings, William Edgar Wentworth of Dover, NH, Helen Angell of Dover, NH and Julia Whitacre of Winchester. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
