It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Harvey of Prosperity, South Carolina, who passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Parnell Oxner and Hattie Bell Bowers. She is survived by: her daughter Kenya LaShawn Harvey of Prosperity, SC; her stepparents, Rosie Oxner of Prosperity, SC and Freddie Lee Bowers of Washington, DC; her siblings, Judy Bowers of Washington, DC, Barbara Fay Wheeler (Macky) of Prosperity, SC, Cathy Harmon of Prosperity, SC, Lisa Oxner of Newberry, SC, Latrecia Bowers of Washington, DC, Larry Bowers (Dorothy) of Temple Hills, MD, Jeffrey Bowers (Pamela) of Blanesburg, MD, Willie Fred Bowers, Sr. of Washington, DC, Waymond Oxner (Gladys) of Newberry, SC and Johnnie Oxner (Ann) of Prosperity, SC; her cousin Lakeshia Allen; and her close friend Francisco Flores. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
