He is survived by: his mother Jessie Lee Wise Hawkins; his daughter Akela Jennings; his grandchildren, J'huriya A. Jeninngs and John Brandon, Jr.; his siblings, Rosa M. Wise, Dottie L. Wise, J. C. Davenport, Mattie M. Davenport and Becky Davis (Mike); and his aunts and uncles, William Lee Wise, Thomas Wise, Jr., Virgil Wise, James Arthur Wise, Mattie of Prosperity, SC, Mary of Prosperity, SC, Anna Wise of Prosperity, SC and Thomasine Longshore (Mike) of Prosperity, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
