She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Wheeler Bowers; her daughter Randi Lee; and her brother Mark Bowers. She is survived by: her mother Marian Sligh Bowers; her daughter Jordan Cannady of Prosperity; her brother Doug Bowers; and her grandchildren, Emily, Raelyn, Channing and Otto.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Newberry Animal Shelter.
